I am a member of the Henderson Ministerial Association. We have started a program this month, (February), designating funds for a different service organization each month, located in Henderson County. I would like to meet with you (Mary Dunham), to discuss specific items to purchase that can be delivered to you during the month of March. Christian Community Outreach was suggested as a good recipient of one of our monthly funding efforts. Although the Association's pledge is small ($50.00), my hope is that through publicity and a few more months efforts, small groups within local churches or organizations might contribute towards this monthly purchasing of necessary items. The Ministerial group has committed funding each month for a calendar year, so there is plenty of time to move this pilot project forward. Currently my wife and I are buying and delivering the products needed, and I am meeting with the agency director or coordinator as part of my ministry to Henderson County. I am a Chaplain at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville, but reside in Henderson, and am very active in our community and church affairs at my own parish. (Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church) Please let me know if we can meet on these specifics at some time in the near future. My e-mail is : huffe56@hotmail.com. My home Ph. (evenings) is 826-9832. Thanks and blessings, Chaplain Edward Huff.

We never met Margaret, but we knew her for many years through her daughter Jan. After watching this video, we realize that she lives on through her family and friends, and we were particularly pleased to see how much Jan resembles her. Jan and her husband Sandy were devoted to Margaret, and she was blessed to have them and their large family in her life. The Lord brought her home quietly and gently to be with him, and today she is at peace with the faithful departed. I send a daily e-mail prayer to a number of people, and the prayer below is one I send out each year on the anniversary of my mother's death. I want to share it with Margaret and her family and friends.

Remember thy servant Margaret, O Lord, according to the favor which thou bearest unto thy people, and grant that she may go from strength to strength in the life of perfect service in thy heavenly kingdom. Those who knew her were blessed: Encouraged by her love, made wiser by her example, and strengthened by her fellowship, we pray that we too may draw nearer to her and to all the faithful departed; through the merits of thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

I like the analogy that was used in a childrens moment a few Sunday's ago. Use a mirror often so you can see behind you and put the best face forward.
