Meet our new pastor, Lauren McDuffie

On April 23, 2023, our church voted to call Rev. Lauren McDuffie as our new senior pastor. We are thrilled that Lauren accepted this call. She will join us this July.

Lauren grew up in Memphis, TN. She is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and Vanderbilt Divinity School. Lauren currently serves as associate pastor at First Baptist Church in Morehead, KY. God has blessed her with many wonderful gifts for ministry and we can’t wait for Lauren to begin sharing those gifts with us.

Lauren becomes the third senior minister at Community Baptist Church, following Dr. John Dunaway and Dr. Tim Hobbs.

Please pray for Lauren in the coming weeks as she makes her transition to Henderson. And by all means, extend your thanks to our Pastor Search Committee for a job well done!
